Founder
The OP Chains Group opened its door in 1963, when Mr. Agarwal after completed B.com asked his father to open a new business and his father “Late Shri Raja Ram Goyal” only gave him a meager amount of Rs.10,000/- from which he started the business of silver wire manufacturing, since then he never turned back. From 1979 he started manufacturing silver chains and anklets, for this he also travelled overseas extensively on business.
Due to his effective leadership, honesty and dedication made OP Chains Group the largest manufacturer of silver chains and anklets in Agra.The group’s phenomenal success over the years has been due to Mr. Agarwal’s mantra of “growth through quality, building unity and always stand on your words” and the same mantra has been imposed by his successors.
He has been a firm believer in corporate intervention in the social sector encompassing CSR and philanthropic activities like improving the life of people by providing better healthcare and education facilities to the economically weaker section. He started the NGO “HELP AGRA” in 2008, currently he is its President, and now it is the biggest NGO in Agra with over 500 members and helped lakhs and lakhs of people in need. He is very religious and is a member of all prime religious groups in India.
With his vast experience in the field of silver chains manufacturing and trading, Mr. Agarwal currently serves as the CHAIRMAN of “UTTAR PRADESH SARAFA COMMITTEE”. He is the PRESIDENT of “Ram Swaroop Girls Inter College” having more than 1200 students.He also served as the PRESIDENT of “UTTAR PRADESH SARAFA COMMITTEE” and “AGRA SARAFA COMMITTEE”. During his President ship tenure he has achieved several milestones and left no stone unturned and he was the most highly liked President till date.
